Similar High-End Items for Less!

I can’t be the only one who finds them selves looking through the catalogues of those high fashion stores, seeing the amazingly elegant pieces I immediately fall in love with and then realise that to buy any of it, I’d need to sell an organ on the black market. But I must have them, I say to myself as I can feel my wallet sobbing in silent pain in the depth of my handbag. But why should I spend a couple of hundred dollars on that pair of shoes when I can buy similar ones for less than half the price?

Saint Laurent Women’s Biker Jacket

SAINT LAURENT - biker jacket 6 kate-moss-street-style-saint-laurent-cropped-zip-up-leather-jacket-balenciaga-tote-alaia-fold-over-ankle-boots-denim-jeans-4 (2)

I first fell in love with this edgy yet chic jacket when I saw it on Kate Moss, of course I believe she has the ability to make you want to buy a potato sack if that were what she decided to wear. How much does this Saint Laurent piece cost? $4,813.99. If you can spend almost five grand on a leather jacket, well props to you. But being a sixteen year old high school student, it’s a little out of my price range.

It’s cute, no? I myself love the look of lingerie like tops because they can look simple and elegant but still hold a somewhat edgy sexiness to them. This pretty piece sadly costs £245.00 , which is far more than I think I will ever pay for a camisole.

Yves Saint Laurent Classic Jane Ankle Strap 110 Sandal in Black Leather

saintlaurent, Classic Jane Ankle Strap 110 Sandal In Black Leather

This is just one of those classically nice pairs of heels which will never go out of fashion so I could, theoretically, justify their $795.00 price tag. However I am a shoe addict, I like to have a lot of shoes so I would much rather spend that money on multiple pairs of equally nice shoes that are a fraction of the price, and I’d still probably have money to spare.

Spring 2014 Trend : Floral Prints

Image

Floral kimono styled with pink crop top and high wasted denim shorts.

As soon as the colder months begin to dissolve into the warmer pastel-toned spring, one trend never fails to pop up in fashion; floral prints. Although I am not the girliest girl out there, I do love these effortlessly chic pieces donning flowers. It’s a very simple and wearable print but never fails to bring out feminine class in any girl.

Whether you love the flourishing gowns and suits, the runway head-to-toe floral look, or a more subtle use of the print, this season offers endless stunning options.

Floral items currently on my wish list:

I am loving this blue floral print camisole from Topshop! I would probably style this with a pair of black skinny jeans and a denim jacket for a casual day look or a black asymmetrical skort and heels for a more sophisticated evening outfit.

Image 1 of ASOS Sweet Heart Playsuit in Monochrome Floral Print

This ASOS jumpsuit is absolutely adorable and the monochrome colour is perfect for those who are tentative about pastel tones. I would pair this with a nice leather jacket which I think would look cute yet edgy.

And finally these Blonde & Blonde Sharona Floral Boots exclusive to Bank. Love the look of them; the chunky heel, the laces, the colour… just everything! I would kill for a pair and they’re such a steal!

Girls (and guys) feel free to let out your inner flower child this spring and embrace these flawless floral prints.

Lots of Love

Fashion

Fashion has no limits. You don’t have to be a certain height, be it tall or short. Despite what some may think, you don’t have to have a certain sized waist line. It doesn’t matter your age, ethnicity, religion, blood type, nothing. Fashion and style do not depend on any physical attributes you have, it’s simply about expressing yourself and wearing what makes you feel confident enough to step out into the world and give all that you have to offer.

That’s what my blog is about.

This is me expressing myself, who I am as an almost sixteen year old Irish girl who’s only five foot tall and sometimes loves her ripped jeans and band tee’s, other times loves her heels and pretty dresses. I want to show the world who I am, show them what I have to offer, by reaching out through a website on the vast internet, allow people from all walks of life to hear what I have to say.

Fashion is such an illustrious industry, one which can often leave people feeling inadequate because they do not necessarily fit a certain profile portrayed on the cover of glossy magazines. But I want to show you, that’s not what fashion is about. It’s about making yourself look but mostly feel as if when you walk out the door each morning you’re ready to conquer the world.

It doesn’t matter who you are, what you look like, how much money you have or where you come from.

Fashion has no limitations.

Fashion isn’t about clothes or designers.

Fashion is about you.
